Random thoughts on God and Free Will

 So I had this thought about the world and God in general. The question which keeps bugging me is whether or not there is free will. Many would undoubtedly contend that that if God exists then we can't have free will. This, according to their reasoning, is due to the theory that if a supreme being exists then our actions can't be without some sort of control. everything (according to the theory) is predestined. This is probably where the idea of fate comes from. The idea that no matter what decisions you make or whatever outcomes are achieved has long being determined by a higher being or supreme force. This is equally present in Greek mythology. The sisters of fate through their threads of fate have woven a clear path for each human which means their every decision is to ultimately end as the thread predicts. In reality is this actually the situation? My answer is to the contrary. I contend that we indeed control our own faiths and decisions. I'd first like to explain with...
